Blake Jorgensen, EA COO and CFO, said that the developer and publisher still hasn’t overcome all of the challenges of working from home, but that the teams under the EA banner have done a fantastic job keeping titles on schedule.
Command & Conquer Remastered was announced earlier this year. It will include Command & Conquer Tiberium Dawn and Command & Conquer Red Alert, as well as the expansions Covert Operations, Counterstrike, and The Aftermath. The base package will release June 5 and cost $19.99.
C&C Remastered is currently available for pre-order on Steam and Origin. It features a map editor in both versions, as well as 4K graphics and a remastered soundtrack. The multiplayer has been improved over the original and the UI upgraded.
In celebration of Tiberian Dawn’s 25th anniversary, EA also released limited special edition and collector’s edition for both games through Limited-Run Games. However, those versions are currently sold out.
EA’s earnings report can be seen here in its entirety, including an interesting tidbit that might point to certain EA games taking advantage of what amounts to Smart Delivery on next-gen platforms. Stay tuned for more on Command & Conquer Remastered ahead of its June release date.
